Paul Zurek

Hi, my name is Paul and I joined the UPGG program in 2008. I spent half my life in Poland where I was born, and the other half in Chicago where I moved when I was 13. Call me crazy but I'm definitely going to miss Chicago weather. I received a B.S. and a M.S. from Loyola University, Chicago. While in the Master's program at Loyola I studied genes involved in the shoot apical meristem in A. thaliana. I came to Duke because of the great variety of research and flexibility in UPGG.
