Aaron Towers

Hi, I'm originally from northern California but have lived in Utah (BYU alum), Brazil (service work), Virginia (FBI Academy internship), and North Carolina (Go Duke!). And I have to say North Carolina has ended up being my favorite place to live (Brazil is a very close second as you can see from the pic!). I love the beaches, the mountains (where I was married), the barbeque, and Duke basketball. But besides all that, I chose Duke because it could offer the best educational opportunities. These include having 100+ distinguished faculty available as possible mentors, contributing to how the graduate program is run, and living in an area surrounded by many major research universities and biotech companies.
