Richard Roberts

My name is Richard Roberts. I am a 1995 graduate of Oberlin College. Following graduation I spent a few years away from science, doing everything from driving a forklift, rolling sushi, to mountain biking the Sandias of Albuquerque. Prior to finding a new home at Duke I was a research technician at the University of Chicago. There I studied hindbrain/dorsal midline development in mice with Kathleen Millen. Today I am studying the genetic basis of pheromone perception in mice in the lab of Dr. Hiro Matsunami. The faculty, students, and facilities here are incredible. The weather, outdoors, and basketball only make it sweeter.
