Hello Duke student directory visitor! I have just completed my bachelors degree in biology in the Spring of 2009 at Truman State University in Kirksville, MO. While there, I geared my degree toward bioinformatics and statistics while focusing some research on population genetics. In my first rotation here at Duke, I have done some work with the Tom Mitchell-Olds lab, trying to identify QTLs in Boechera for various ecological traits, such as flowering time. Outside of school and work, I never miss a good soccer game, movie, or graduate student get-together.
