I received my B.S. in Biological Sciences from Peking University in China where I participated in an undergraduate project on the nutrient sensing system of R. meliloti. I then moved to the National Institute of Biological Sciences, Beijing (NIBS) where I completed my bachelor’s degree thesis and served as a technician after graduation. At NIBS, I used the worm C. elegans to study apoptotic cell clearance and innate immune response to pathogens. My current research interests focus on host-pathogen interactions. Outside of the lab, I love drawing cartoons and am a fan of Hojo Tsukasa.
