I'm a first-year in UPGG, and I came to Duke with a B.S. in Genetics from the University of Georgia. Here at Duke, I'm continuing my training as an evolutionary biologist in the Noor lab, where we study a variety of evolutionary questions, generally focused on recombination and speciation using Drosophila. My current projects and goals focus on understanding how chromosomal inversions influence recombination and gene flow.
